Gull Motel - Belfast, Maine

The hotel was very clean and in a nice location. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable.

The bathrooms were small. They were however very clean.

Staff was extraordinary. More like staying at a friend's house who happens to live in Maine than a motel. Classic American motel from the past, but clean, in good repair and fast internet.

Location, friendly staff, breakfast coffee and muffin, pet-friendly

It was very clean, a nice size room, nice staff, good shower! Everything was really nice, including the location.

Location, convenience was good. Rooms were nicely decorated.

Bathroom was cramped and toilet seat loose. Rug in bedroom was damp. Roach motel behind toilet not a good sign but necessary.

Very clean and pleasant staff

Car noise and asphalt up to door

very friendly staff as local people

typical roadside motel.

we arrived and was told the property had been sold and there was no reservations. there were no places to stay in Belfas

Convenient location, just inside the city limits of Belfast. Route 1 was noisy during the day, but quieted down at night. Water views from this 1st floor room (in the distance). Clean room, helpful staff. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby. Room was spacious, bath had full tub. Everything in the room worked! Great City Park in Belfast—-check it out (free beach access, tennis courts, including smaller kid-sized courts)!

Breakfast was a joke, office closed at 6-7 pm & when the office closed, you lost access to the ice machine.

Staff were outstanding helpful, rooms nice

Traffic noise, quite after 9pm

Staff was fine. Clean room.

Free breakfast consisted of coconut donuts and small pastries in baggies.. No in-room coffee.

Nice cheap place, good rooms with good size

Friendly staff , good location

Worst bed ever. Small outdated bathroom

convenient location

Everything felt damp. Bathroom was tiny- knees almost touched the tub when sitting on toilet

Bed was comfortable, price was right

Door lock was a pain in the butt to get open. T.V. was small screen. Bath tub doesn't work as tub. No ice machines 0r vending

The staff was very nice. The bed was so comfortable. The pillows could be a bit softer. The garbage truck came about 6:30 on Sunday morning. The trash dumpster was alongside my room. Otherwise, I feel the room was very good. I would book again and just choose a room away from the dumpster ?

The Ladies at the front desk very friendly and helpful.Beds were comfortable , rooms are a good size and not far from town ..

No coffee pot in room ..Even though office opens at 6:30 ..Its just a nice thing to have in your room

Don't use Booking.com to secure a room here. The manager will honor AAA discount only by using the phone or their website. At least he was honest about it!

Basic motel with helpful staff and clean room.

Because it is directly on Route 1, there is traffic noise. We did expect that so would not criticize the motel for that.

The staff was not very helpful, disappointing.
